Aerial documentation for Kentucky and Southern Indiana builds
Aerial Photography Louisville documents construction projects with precision and consistency. My construction progress photography and video tracks your site from groundbreaking to completion with clear, high-resolution images that keep stakeholders informed, cut down on site visits and double as marketing material when the building is done.
Whether you need aerial photos, time-lapse video or detailed mapping, every visit is flown by the same FAA Part 107 licensed, insured pilot, from the same positions, so month six lines up with month one.

Track progress, keep everyone informed
Why owners and builders schedule aerial progress photos
- Track every stage of development with consistent, dated updates
- Share professional visuals with investors, clients and project managers
- Keep an accurate, dated visual record of the site for later reference
- Spot logistics and staging issues from above before they cost time
- Showcase your work with marketing-ready photos and video
Every image is shot on professional drone and camera equipment, then color-corrected and straightened in post-production so your progress set is clean, consistent and ready to share.

In a client’s words
What builders say

The photos are not only high-quality but also delivered on time, keeping our team and investors updated with the progress.”
Case study
Louisville VA Medical Center, mapped every month
I have flown the new Louisville VA Medical Center site for Walsh Construction since March 2022 and every month since January 2023, and since June 2024 each flight also becomes one measurable orthomosaic map of the whole campus. Superintendents measure on it, planners mark laydown areas and crane paths on it, and the owner gets a dated record of exactly where the job stood. Five of those maps, from structural steel to landscaping:

The day the water tower went up has its own story too: the VA water tower installation. The same monthly approach is under way on a new medical clinic in Elizabethtown, flown in the first week of every month since July 2026. Follow it from grading to the building pad.
Visual proof of progress
Consistent documentation, professional results
From monthly construction progress photos to final completion photography, I tailor each schedule to the project. With over 20 years of photography and video experience behind every shoot, you get images that hold up in owner meetings, investor updates and on your own website.
Beyond progress tracking, the same visits produce content for marketing: show off your craftsmanship, highlight milestones and share the project’s journey with clients, communities and investors.

The difference is in the edit
Edited, not just flown
High-resolution quality you can trust. Every image goes through professional post-production, including color correction and horizon straightening, so your team receives polished files ready for owner updates and marketing.
Ground and aerial on one visit. Alongside the drone work I capture ground-level photos and video, so the site is documented from every perspective without hiring a second provider.
Even before ground is broken, a pre-construction flight gives you the proposed site from above for logistics and planning, and every set after it from the same positions can become a time-lapse for reviews, marketing and social media.

Warehouses, hospitals, highways, plants and retail builds across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, flown and edited to the same standard. Two full builds, month by month: LRZC for Kelley Construction and 264 Commerce Center.

Bring the project to life
Construction progress video
Show the project’s growth with aerial video updates that capture every angle. Progress films work for stakeholder updates, presentations, milestone announcements and marketing the finished building.

Precision from above
Drone mapping for construction sites
Accurate orthomosaic maps and 3D models for construction, land development and site planning. Mapping gives your team a measurable, georeferenced view of the whole site, faster than walking it, and it pairs naturally with progress photos on the same visit. For single-visit stills of a finished building, see drone photography.
Areas I serve
Construction coverage across the region
I document projects throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana, from Louisville and Lexington to Bardstown, New Albany, Brandenburg and beyond. Start with the page closest to your project: Lexington and Central Kentucky, statewide across Kentucky or Southern Indiana.

Common questions
Construction photography questions
How often should a construction site be photographed?
Most commercial projects are photographed monthly, with extra visits at key milestones such as steel, roof dry-in and completion. Fast-moving sites often go weekly, and a one-time visit works well for a single milestone or a pre-construction view.
What is construction drone photography used for?
Owner and stakeholder updates, investor reports, milestone and billing documentation, a dated visual record if a question comes up later, and marketing once the building is finished. One flight covers the whole site, including roofs, staging and access roads that are hard to see from the ground.
Can you photograph the site before construction starts?
Yes. A pre-construction flight gives you a detailed aerial view of the proposed site for logistics, planning and project visualization, and it becomes the first image in your progress record.
Can the progress photos become a time-lapse?
Yes. A succession of high-resolution aerial images from the same positions can be turned into a time-lapse video for internal reviews, marketing, websites and social media.
Do you also shoot video and mapping on the same visit?
Yes. Progress video, orthomosaic maps and 3D models can be captured alongside the stills, which saves you a second mobilization.
How much does construction progress photography cost?
It depends on the size of the site, how often it is flown and what you need delivered: stills, video, maps or all three. Send the address, the start date and the schedule you have in mind, and you get one clear price for the whole job before the first flight.
Can we share the photos with owners, investors and the public?
Yes. All projects include full commercial usage rights unless otherwise specified, so the files can go into owner reports, investor updates, presentations, your website and marketing.
What areas do you cover?
Louisville, Lexington and the rest of Kentucky, plus Southern Indiana, including New Albany, Jeffersonville and Clarksville.
